The Urban Events Association invites you from Friday, March 21, to Sunday, March 23, 2025, between 10:00-18:00 to the Annunciation Peasant Market Fair. Admission is free. Access is via Monetăriei Street number 3.
Folk craftsmen and artisans from all over the country will be present with icons, wooden objects, fabrics, ii, decorations, traditional ceramics, traditional costumes, wooden jewelry, Murano glass, semi-precious stones, beads, children's clothes and toys, natural soaps and cosmetics, candles, paintings, sacred art and much more.
Antique dealers bring folk costumes from all over the country and peasant furniture, fabrics, carpets, old ceramics, porcelain, books, coins, furniture, jewelry, gramophones and various collectibles.
We are waiting for you with the tastiest traditional dishes for fasting and sweet – honey and various kinds of zacuști, jams and syrups, natural fruit juice and aromatic herbs, fruits and vegetables, pickles, walnuts, dried plums, fruits, brandy and palinci, fasting sweets, cozonaci and baclava, homemade chocolate and doboș, traditional dishes, pies with a belt, cheeses, curds and cottage cheese.
There is no shortage of tasty dishes prepared on site by skilled chefs: şarmăluțe with polăliguță for fasting and sweet, beans in a cauldron with red onion salad, mushrooms with sheep's cheese, shepherd's bulz, fish borscht, carp brine, grilled trout, pitia and all kinds of goodies.
