🏘 Discover the village of Biertan through the eyes of the locals!
The most authentic and interesting treasures told about a village are those told by those who were born or live there.
▫ At the beginning of September, the Informal Tour Guide Course took place in Biertan.
During the two days, participants from the commune had the opportunity to delve deeper into the local history and heritage and to acquire tour guiding skills, with the support of the course instructor Adela Dadu, a guide with a lot of experience in the field. But together we also discovered many unknown stories and memories of those born here.
▫ Upon completion of the course, graduates become ambassadors of the community, now having the necessary training to offer tourists authentic experiences and basic information about the UNESCO rural site and the Biertan commune as a whole.
▫ They, together with instructor and guide Adela Dadu, invite you to two guided architectural tours (same tour, twice in the program) as part of the Transylvania Multicultural Festival on September 21, as follows:
- Tour 1: between 12:00 and 14:00
- Tour 2: between 16:00 and 18:00

▫ We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes and a bottle of water.
▫ The tours are free.
This activity is part of the Transylvania Multicultural Festival 2025 edition, organized by the City Hall of Biertan Commune, and is funded under PR Centru 2021 – 2027, Priority P7. A region with sustainable tourism, within the project "Rehabilitation of the UNESCO Biertan site", SMIS code: 303611.
