Báthory Fest is a historical reenactment festival that brings to life the fascinating story of the Báthory castle and fortress in Șimleu Silvaniei. Over the course of two days, participants will be transported to the atmosphere of the Middle Ages through authentic historical camps, combat demonstrations, knights and soldiers in armor, equestrian parades, craft workshops and shows inspired by the traditions and legends of the time.

The event aims to capitalize on the cultural and historical heritage of the region, offering the public an interactive and educational experience, in which the past comes to life within the history-laden walls of the Báthory fortress.
