The Religious Fine Arts and Restoration Branch Association of the Union of Fine Artists of Romania, together with the National Village Museum "Dimitrie Gusti", invites you on Saturday, October 18, 2025, as every autumn, to the Guild Celebration dedicated to fine artists and restorers, during which their studio searches or achievements from restoration sites will be presented. Organized on a great holiday (October 18 is the feast day of Saint Luke, the painter of the Virgin Mary), the exhibition will evoke the contribution of the Association's members in the cultural field, in a personal note specific to each participating artist.

Starting at 1:00 p.m., at the Timișeni Church within the museum, a memorial service will be held for the members of the guild who have passed away, starting with the painters of the thin and ending with the commemoration of the founders of the Fine Arts Union, which became the Union of Fine Artists of Romania, and the founders of the Religious Fine Arts and Restoration Branch Association.

After the memorial service, the opening of the branch’s religious art exhibition will take place in the Gheorghe Focșa hall. The art critic Marius Tița will present. The curators of the exhibition are Irina Sava, Cristian Olteanu and Florian Mihăilescu.

Professional fine artists will exhibit – full members and interns of the U.A.P of Romania and graduates of the National University of Arts, with significant activity in the field of visual arts or the restoration of cultural goods.

The exhibition will be open from October 18 to November 23, 2025, from Wednesday to Sunday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
