Between May 30 and June 1, 2025, the Urban Events Association organizes the Peasant Market and Craftsman Fair (Ești) in the courtyard of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant!
Dozens of producers, artisans and collectors await older and younger children with all kinds of goodies, activities and little things made with love and care!
From 10:00 in the morning until evening, in the courtyard of the museum there will be: market traders and artisans, craftsmen and merchants, producers of traditional dishes and ornaments, old objects and creativity workshops for older and younger children.
They will be present, with many and various traditional objects: wood carvers, weavers, young artisans, seamstresses, braiders, icon painters, painters, etc. You will meet antique dealers in the inner courtyard with: fabrics, peasant furniture, old books, ceramics and porcelain, objects specific to a peasant household, ornaments and various art objects.
You can bargain: fresh cheeses, homemade cakes, gingerbread, honey and bee products, seasonal fruits and vegetables, sea buckthorn syrup and palinca, lemonade and sea buckthorn, baklava and saraillii, jams and zacuști, apple juice and aronia.
On site, for those with appetites, Romanian grilled and cauldron dishes are served with Dâmbovița pita: sărmăluțe, kebabs, goulash, stuffed peppers, turkey breast, grilled vegetables, mushroom dish with dill and polenta, but also suberek, kurtos kalacs and langoși.
We are waiting for you this weekend in the courtyard of the National Ministry of National Reconstruction and Development for a new edition of the Peasant Market!
