10:00 AM – Opening of the event
- Opening of the educational and creative workshops
- Opening of the “Garden of Respite” – an area dedicated to relaxation and activities for the whole family
- Guided tours of the Roman city’s main monuments: the Amphitheatre, the Sacred Precinct, Forum Vetus and Forum Novum
- Open archaeological site at the Temple of the Palmyrene Gods – presentation of the archaeological research and the stages involved in conserving and safeguarding the monument
4:00 PM – Book launch and presentation of the Sarmizegetusa Archaeological Park Project
- Launch of the volume “Les Palmyréniens en Dacie”, authored by Ioan Piso and Ovidiu Țentea and published by Brepols, Turnhout
- Presentation of the main development and heritage enhancement plans for the future Sarmizegetusa Archaeological Park
7:00 PM – Classical music concert performed by NOIR DUO
The workshops and activities in the “Garden of Respite” will take place throughout the day.
