The Sunday before Easter, the last of the Lenten season, is known as Palm Sunday, Palm Sunday or Palm Sunday. On this occasion, the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant invites its visitors, for three days, to enjoy the festive atmosphere with skilled craftsmen, who have proven their skills over the years and who keep alive the traditions of their craft: egg dyers, icon painters, weavers, braiders, potters, seamstresses, spoon makers, leather workers and rudists.
From Friday, April 3, to Sunday, April 5, 2026, between 10:00 and 18:00, visitors will be able to admire and buy numerous beautiful objects, meticulously made and loaded with symbols and meanings. Painted eggs, icons, wooden and ceramic objects, fabrics, toys, ornaments and many other creations will be exhibited at the Flower Fair, organized in the courtyard of the Museum of the Road.
There will also be traditional gastronomic products: homemade cakes and cookies, gingerbread, honey, pollen and propolis, medicinal herbs, pălinca and jams.
As every year, the event also supports the activity of schools, foundations, associations and organizations that carry out humanitarian projects for children with disabilities and provide support to people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
