We are waiting for you, young and old, at the autumn fair at Şosea, in the inner courtyard of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, from September 25 to 27, 2026.
From Friday to Sunday, between 10:00 and 18:00, artisans, collectors and producers from all over the country bring everything they have worked on, collected or prepared more beautifully and tastierly, weaving in a beautiful story the old with the new, tastes and recipes, demonstrating, exhibiting and cooking on site.
For connoisseurs and collectors, there are peasant antiques and furniture in the inner courtyard. Merchants bring folk costumes from various ethnographic areas, ii and vâlnice, catrințe and tablecloths, towels and scarves, bowls and dowry boxes, ceramics, tools from the peasant household, but also jewelry, plates, candlesticks, porcelain and various collectibles.
Meşter (Esc)! for your artisans and craftsmen with: jewelry made of semi-precious stones or porcelain, wooden household items made by craftsmen from Băbeni, ceramics from Horezu, painted icons, braids, ii from the workshops in Breaza, felted wool toys, natural cosmetics, clothing, painted boxes and interior decorations, leather, crocheted items, glassware, seasonal flowers and lavender, aromatic plants and much more.
They prepare culinary delights for all tastes, small producers with: mustard and pastrami, sărmăluțe la cauun with polenta and hot peppers, bulz with polenta and burduf cheese, ram pastrami in cauun and eggplant dish, cheeses and curds, cakes, seasonal fruits and vegetables, pickles that are just perfect to fill the pantries, jams, syrups, natural juices and zacuști, honey and bee products, Szekler cozonac, like at an authentic ''peasant market''.
