The Urban Events Association organizes the Urban Farmers festival with producers, craftsmen and artisans from all corners of the country in Brașov Council Square from May 16 to 18, 2025.

The “Urban Farmers” festival continues its duty to restore direct interaction between producer and consumer, simultaneously with the empowerment and education of the public through which we support and encourage the increase in the consumption of healthy products, gourmet artisanal products by increasing the visibility of small entrepreneurs as a healthy financial exercise for the development of local communities.

Local producers and guests from all parts of the country, as well as renowned craftsmen, will be present with traditional recipes and demonstrations of Transylvanian crafts and beyond, from morning until late evening.

There will be no shortage of traditional dishes, cheeses, curds and cheese curds, jams and zacuști, prepared according to various recipes, specific to the areas of origin, apples from Voinești, honey and bee products, various sweets, prepared according to artisanal confectionery recipes.
In the current economic and social conditions, supporting the consumption of Romanian, traditional, natural products, respectively supporting/promoting handmade items, of small craftsmen, represents a real chance for the revival of gastronomic and popular traditions as well as identifying/organizing new markets for the mentioned products.

Urban craftsmen and artisans will bring everything they have worked on most beautifully over the year and will come to show you that craftsmanship represents, generation after generation, art and love for the places and communities where they live.
