The Târgu Lăpuș City Hall, the “Vasile Grigore Latiș” Cultural House, the Târgu Lăpuș Tourist Information Center, with the generous support of the Maramureș County Council, invite you to step with an open heart into the heart of Lăpuș traditions, at the third edition of the “Lăpuș Dowry” celebration

On Monday, June 9, the second day of Pentecost, we are waiting for you in the center of Târgu Lăpuș, where song, dance, ancient customs and home taste intertwine in a dance of joy and pride in being a Lăpuș resident.

We will celebrate a day of celebration as only the Land of Lăpuș can give – with the pure voices of local artists, with shouts and chants that echo from the depths of our roots, but also with distinguished guests who will add value to the event: the Iza Group, keeper of musical treasures from historical Maramureș.

Local producers will set up stands loaded with goodies, the fruit of skill and the blessed land – selected and varied dishes.

“The Lăpușan Dowry” is not just an event, it is a calling. A gathering of people and feelings, in which we rediscover our roots, honor our estates and ancestors and learn, together, to carry forward what defines us: tradition, faith and love for our native place.
