This is an itinerary that, if you were to follow it, would probably offer you one of the most fascinating trips you’ve ever taken! And what if you did just that? Watch Road Trip Movie #3 on our YouTube channel and let yourself be tempted by this journey from the heart of Transylvania all the way to the proud and rich region of Maramureș. Through castles, fortified churches, and traditional villages, our travelers were guided not only through places full of history but also through unique experiences—craft workshops, traditional meals, and nature excursions.

They began their journey in Hărman, Brașov County, where they visited the Fortified Church and the local gastronomic point HOF Hărman, then continued toward the Feldioara Citadel, also stopping at Daniel Castle in Tălișoara. In Harghita County, they visited the Adorján Imre Manor in Armășeni, Lázár Castle in Lăzarea, and the Roman Catholic Church in Cârța. The journey continued with Bethlen Castle in Criș, the Evangelical Church in Herina, and a stop at the Elena local gastronomic point in Dealul Tihei Bârgăului. Once in Maramureș, the experiences became increasingly rustic, with a visit to the sheepfold in Suciu de Jos in Țara Lăpușului, followed by all the fascinating sites in the village of Breb—the jewel of the region. The end of the journey featured two more castles brimming with captivating legends: Ugron Castle and Haller Castle.
