"Taste of the Citadel" returns with a new edition, this time as part of Haferland Cultural Week 2026!

We invite you to spend a few hours at the Saschiz Refuge Citadel, enjoying a picnic with local flavors, stories, meaningful encounters, and cultural activities in one of the most beautiful places in the village!

The picnic starts at 12:00 PM, and the picnic baskets can be picked up directly from the citadel.

A maximum of 50 picnic baskets for two people will be available, lovingly prepared by Bucate din Vecinătate.

For individual participants, the picnic will be prepared in Bucate din Vecinătate paper bags.

Participation fee: 110 RON/person

Registration is made through the Google Form, and participation is confirmed only after payment has been made to the bank account of the Vecinătatea Femeilor din Saschiz Association, indicated in the Google Form: https://forms.gle/dCWfd2QqZVkW18SVA

Places are limited, and participation fees are non-refundable in case of cancellation.

By taking part in "Taste of the Citadel", you also support an important cause for our community. The profit generated will help provide a warm meal for the students of Saschiz through the Bucate din Vecinătate community kitchen.
