🍃 The end of July brings good news – there’s just a little longer to wait until we meet in Posmuș for a new cultural project called Sat viu – Echoes of the Future in the Transylvanian Countryside.
This year’s intervention, carried out in partnership with the Bistrița-Năsăud County Museum Complex, aims to bring together both the “grand” and the “small” heritage and to strengthen the connection between people and place.
Between 28 July – 3 August, we invite you to take part in the Summer School, featuring discussions and activities on themes related to sociology and architecture. Residents of Posmuș are invited to join workshops for children and youth, film screenings, a theatre performance, and a photo studio. Entry is free.
The project also includes participation in the ArtCast festival with an interdisciplinary exhibition of photography and personal stories, as well as a closing event where architectural proposals will be presented for the redesign of the area in front of the old Saxon school, along with a video-mapping show.
We can’t wait to see you again, so we’re getting back to work! See you in Posmuș! 👋🏻
A project by the Petrus Italus Trust Association – Alliance for Bistrițean Heritage, carried out with the support of the Bistrița-Năsăud County Council and the Bistrița-Năsăud County Museum Complex, in strategic partnership with UBB Cluj – Faculty of Theatre and Film and the Technical University of Cluj – Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, with the support of the Șieu City Hall and the Șieu Secondary School.
Cultural programme co-financed by the National Cultural Fund Administration. The project does not necessarily represent the position of the National Cultural Fund Administration. AFCN is not responsible for the content of the project or the way its results may be used. These are entirely the responsibility of the funding beneficiary.
