On Friday, August 8, at 7:00 PM, Remus Azoiței and ICon Arts students will give a violin recital, accompanied on piano by Clementina Ristea-Ciucu at the Bastionul Șesătorilor (Artists) in Brașov.
ICon Arts Festival is an action co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and the Sibiu County Council.
“an incurable virtuoso with a fabulous soul and technique”, as he is called by the British magazine The Strad, Remus Azoiței made his debut as a violinist at the age of just 8, with the Galați symphony orchestra.
The early start of his musical career brought him success that was not long in coming.
After graduating from the Bucharest Conservatory and studying at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York, Remus Azoiției has performed in the most important cities in the world, at Carnegie Hall in New York, Salle Cortot Paris or Wigmore Hall in London, performing alongside artists such as cellist David Geringas or conductor Lawrence Foster.
Thus, Remus Azoiției became the youngest violin professor in the 200-year history of the Royal Academy of Music in London.
