Cultural picnic with local dishes in the Saschiz Fortress

As part of Haferland Week 2025, the Women's Neighborhood of Saschiz awaits you at a cultural picnic with local dishes, soft drinks and brass band music!

On Friday, August 1, after the organ concert in the evangelical church, the hike to the fortress and the guided tour of the fortress, participants are invited to sit down at the table under the open sky – accompanied by live brass band music, brought by the Kulturwerk der Siebenbürger Sachsen.

Cold snacks, based on local ingredients, prepared by members of the Women's Neighborhood of Saschiz, will be offered at the picnic to registered participants!
All funds raised are directed to the "Bucate din Vecinătate" canteen!

By participating in this picnic, you enjoy a cultural and community event, but, above all, you directly support community facilities Bucate din Vecinătate, a project at the Women's Neighborhood dedicated to free hot meals for students in the Saschi commune.
